Erhan Kılıç was born in 1982 in Sivas, Turkey. After completing his primary, secondary and high school education in Ankara, he completed his undergraduate education at Selcuk University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Journalism in Konya. Later, completing his master's degree in the Department of Journalism at the same university, he started his PhD in the Department of Journalism, the Institute of Social Sciences at Istanbul University in Istanbul. He has been lived in London for 1.5 years for foreign language education. He is currently working as a research assistant at Fırat University Faculty of Communication in Elazig, Turkey.

He’s been started photography by taking landscape photos for hobby purposes as a weekend activity. Later he has been shooting landscapes, documentaries and travel photographs for about 3 years. He tells the story and life of the Anatolian people in his photographs ınspired by the landscape photography technique. He believes that post-processing is as important as composition and lighting in photography.
